  • In addition to the regular children’s summer reading program, the staff at Geneseo Public Library will host summer reading programs for teens and adults.
Students entering sixth through 12th grades may enroll in a six-week program that runs June 11 to July 20.
The program will include activities and crafts in addition to prizes.
Those wanting to participate in the teen program are asked to register by June 9 so adequate supplies will be available. The first activity will start at 2 p.m. June 14.
Adults may enter to win weekly prizes by completing an entry form for each book read this summer. Participants will be asked to rate the book so library staff can publish their own “best summer reads” list.
The first weekly drawing will be June 15. Adults also will find take-away puzzles and activity information at the library’s adult reading display.
For more information, contact the Geneseo Public Library at 944-6452.
