  • Dale James “Jim” Littig, 77, of Geneseo, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 25, at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Geneseo. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. A visitation was held Tuesday, July 24, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Dale James Littig Memorial Fund.

  • Dale James “Jim” Littig, 77, of Geneseo, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 25, at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Geneseo.     Jim was born on March 15, 1935, in Rock Island, the son of Dale M. and Florence J. (Duytschaever) Littig. He attended Alleman High School, Rock Island. He married Vera M. Remour on Dec. 12, 1953, in Kahoka, Mo. She died on March 13, 2008. He had worked at Regalia, Rock Island; Tri City Blue Print, Moline; and Quad City Safety, Davenport, Iowa. He was a member of Geneseo’s Men’s Bowling Association. He enjoyed drag racing, camping, bowling, playing cards and watching western shows.
    Survivors include two sons and spouse, Dave and Pam Littig of Geneseo and Rick Littig of Silvis; two daughters and spouse, Cathy “Sam” Moore of Davenport and Cindy and Steve Hancock of Geneseo; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Duane “Dewey” Littig, Milan; and a nephew, Dion Littig. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son,?Randy, in 1989.
