  • Boys' golf and freshman football nab road wins

  • The Geneseo High School boys' golf team earned the sweep on the road Sept. 24 as the Leafs defeated LaSalle-Peru, Rochelle and Streator with a combined team score of 163. Billy Converse was the medalist with a 38. The freshman football team also was victorious with a 57-8 win over Dixon Sept. 24.
