  • Geneseo freshman golfer Monica Lieving earned a spot at the IHSA state finals after she placed 12th overall at the Oct. 8 Sectional. Lieving shot a 95 total (48, 47). She will compete at the state finals Oct. 12 and 13 in Decatur.
