The Home Health Services division of the Henry and Stark County Health Department has been named to the Top 100 of the 2012 HomeCare Elite.
The 2012 HomeCare Elite is a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. Winners are ranked by an analysis of publicly available performance measures in quality outcomes, process measure implementation, patient experience, quality improvement and financial performance.
"The 2012 HomeCare Elite winners demonstrate a commitment to providing patient-centered care and serving as leaders in the home health community," said Susan Henricks, president of National Research Corporation, the parent company of OCS HomeCare.
"I credit our staff and their dedication to quality patient care and health outcomes," said Pam Bennett, the Henry and Stark County Health Department's director of Home Health Services.
"Our home health staff has made a goal of always keeping up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in home health care. This continues to result in better home health services being offered to our area patients," she said.
"We are so gratified that our hard work has paid of in our ability to achieve recognition as one of the Top 100 HomeCare Elite. We get so much personal satisfaction from the work we do each and every day. However, when an independent and nationally recognized organization tells us that we are doing a great and 'industry-wide' superior job, it's like a wonderful pat on the back for our entire staff," said Bennett.
