The Henry and Stark County Health Department recently hosted a meeting of
Henry and Stark County Funeral Directors and Coroners. The meeting was held
as part of the Health Department Emergency Preparedness Program and
activities. The meeting dealt with the local response to a "Mass Fatality"
situation. Topics covered included: definitions and overviews of Mass
Fatality and Federal Disaster Mortuary Response Teams (DMORT). Also
covered, were the roles community partners would assume in a local Mass
