He was born on Feb. 9, 1960, in Geneseo, the son of Larry and Arlene Morton-Adkins of Atkinson. He was raised and educated in Atkinson and graduated from Atkinson High School. He currently was employed with Target of Bradley, where he worked as a store facility technician. It was through Target that he was active in volunteering throughout the community. He enjoyed fishing and drawing; loved his Jeep and had many great times four-wheeling. He will be remembered for his Winter video gaming and could regularly be found watching horror films.
Survivors include his fiancée, Tina Howard of Wilmington; parents, Larry and Arlene Adkins of Atkinson; daughter Jennifer Binstock of North Dakota; grandson, Dillon; brothers, Ron (Theresa) Hansen of Princeton and Wade Adkins of Davenport, Iowa; and two nephews, Dan and Nick Hansen. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ramona, in infancy.
