“We did great,” said head coach Don Fredericks. “Last year we took seventh. We are extremely pleased with where we are. We didn’t load any kids up and didn’t maximize our lineup so with that being said, there are a lot of things to be excited about.”

“Leading the charge was Josh Beard with the third farthest sophomore jump in the triple jump, AJ Marmion won the shot put and continues to be undefeated on the season, and Alex Platz did a great job in the pole vault and is still undefeated,” said Fredericks. “The 4x800-m relay ran awesome and all four runners ran really tough races.”
Ethan Reschke placed third for the Leafs in the 400-m dash with a time of 53.71; while the 4x200-m relay of Chase Cahalan, Luke Snyder, Jeremy Harper and Justin Seeley took fourth in 1:38.44.
