She was born on Aug. 24, 1945 in Moline. She was a waitress, a Tupperware lady, a bank teller, and many other things that involved interacting with people, which she loved, in addition to being an at-home mom (back when it used to be called “homemaker”). When her children were older, she opened her home to foster neglected children. She loved country music, dancing, doing arts and crafts (especially painting ceramics), collecting turquoise jewelry, her morning coffee and being with her friends. She never learned to swim, but not for a lack of trying. She also has been actively involved in the Lutheran Church over the years.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Hintzman (and Len Owens) of Herndon, Va.; her son, William (and Kathleen) Klavon of Purcellville, Va.; four extraordinary grandchildren, Ryan Hintzman, Lucas Klavon, Liam Klavon and Aidan Klavon; her beloved sisters, Pat Snyder of Geneseo, Janet (and Art) Meier of Prophetstown, Mary (and Jerry) Dobers of Pearce, Ariz. and Valerie (and Jerry) Bush of Fulton; and many, many, many, many, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blair and Edith Bryan Sr.; husbands, William Masters and Robert Warren; and a brother, Blair Bryan Jr.
