Linda Lou (Randour) Mandle, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, after a short, yet courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 1 at Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, Yorkville. A visitation was held Tuesday, April 30 at Larson-Nelson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lou Mandle Memorial Fund, 508 Blaine St., Yorkville, IL 60560.
Lou was born on Aug. 11, 1949, in Pekin, the daughter of Victor and Mary Randour. She dedicated her passion for learning to the development of future leaders as a teacher at Yorkville High School for 17 years, having retired in 2009. She adored her family and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, taking them on shopping trips and showering them with love. She was enjoying retirement by spending time with close friends, visiting various casinos and taking trips to Arizona and Minnesota to visit her family. She will be greatly missed and eternally loved.
Survivors include her loving husband, Kenn Mandle; her sister, Connie Hinton; her two sons, Shaye (Lynn) and Darien (Angie) and her four grandchildren, Piper, 14; Zane, 12; Ava, 7; and Grady, 5.
