  • Don Reul of Galva, grandfather of the six-year-old Sterling boy who survived a sand dune sinkhole mishap, is slated to appear on NBC's Today Show tomorrow morning.
Reul said by telephone today he's slated to be at the Chicago hospital where his grandson is at 5:45 a.m. tomorrow, to appear before Today Show cameras. It's not clear if the interview will be shown live or later in the morning.
Reul, pastor of First Baptist Church of Galva, also appeared on ABC-TV's Good Morning America this morning to discuss the incident.
His grandson, Nathan Woessner, was pulled alive from a sinkhole after being buried under ground for over three hours at Indiana Dunes near Michigan City, Ind. on Friday. His story is being broadcast worldwide by TV and Internet outlets.
Meanwhile, Pastor Reul told the Galva News to be sure and thank the Galva community for their outpouring of support since the incident happened.
"Let everybody in Galva know how much we appreciate it," Reul said late this afternoon. "We feel blessed."
