  • Henry County officials are asking for citizens' input to develop a comprehensive land-use plan update for the county.
    A vision meeting will start at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Cambridge Fire Station, 303 S. East Road, Cambridge. All are invited.
    During the meeting, citizens and business owners in Henry County will learn about the comprehensive planning process.
    Those attending will have the opportunity to share ideas on future land use and improvements needed in Henry County.
    Questions to be discussed will include:
    • Where would you like to see homes or businesses?
    • Where should resources be protected or conserve?
    • What types of development should be encouraged?
    Comments will be used to develop a county vision and to retain or refine future goals for the county as part of a comprehensive plan to progressively be implemented over the next 20 years.
    The meeting is open to residents, business owners and all interested parties from Henry County.
