Black Hawk College is sponsoring a Learn and Earn Open House from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Community Education Center in downtown Kewanee.

“This January we have a great set of classes in downtown Kewanee which can polish someone’s skills or lead to a completely new career,” said David Harris, BHC coordinator.

Instructors will be on hand Dec. 6 to discuss classes, job options and career paths. Upcoming classes will include welding, CNA, medical billing, medical coding, medical assisting, Microsoft Office computer certification, math, GED and a variety of continuing education classes such as food service sanitation and phlebotomy technician.

At the open house, participants will be able to visit health classrooms, computer labs and the welding lab. There will be information about financial aid options for students. Computers will be available so attendees can complete their Black Hawk College application on site.

The Community Education Center is at 404 E. 3rd St., Kewanee.
