Arthur F. Lambert, 69, of Geneseo, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at Good Samaritan Village, in Geneseo. Visitation and memorial services will be Sunday, Sept. 3 at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, in Geneseo. A visitation will start at 1 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. Fr. Michael Pakula will officiate. A private inurnment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, in Geneseo. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Arthur was born March 9, 1948, in Chicago, the son of Arthur William and Marguerite (Bartke) Lambert. He was the older of two children. He married Teresa A. Petrusek on April 18, 1970, in Chicago. Arthur was a long-time resident of Lake in the Hills and Huntley, and was most recently a resident of Geneseo. He worked as a tool and die engineer with several companies in the Chicagoland area for many years. Arthur was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Teresa, whom he was married to for 47 years; his daughter, Kathleen (Barry) Jacocks, of Geneseo; and his son, Michael (Kimberly) Lambert, of Pingree Grove. His grandchildren are: Haleigh, Natalie, Jacey and Kylie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Marguerite.
