The Henry County Youth Services Bureau (YSB), which provides a number of services to youth and families in Henry County, including free home-based and school-based counseling, prevention education, a youth diversion program and a partner abuse intervention program, recently welcomed several new board of director members. The YSB also hosted the election of officers.

The YSB also hosted the election of officers.

Scott Packee, Kelli Parsons and Jerry Thompson all of Kewanee, joined the board.

Newly elected officers for the 2018 fiscal year include: Scott Raley, of Galva, president; Steve Johnson, of Galva, vice-president; and Cathy Langdon, of Geneseo, treasurer and secretary.

Raley, who has served on the YSB Board since 2010 said, “It is a privilege to be asked to lead this board as president. I am excited to serve as we look to focus on program development and fundraising, this year, so the YSB can continue to provide services to as many families and youth as possible. The agency is very lucky to have an outstanding group of volunteer board members.”
