Carroll L. Bair, 74, of Moline, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island. A funeral service was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at Rafferty Funeral Home, in Moline. A visitation was from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 at the funeral home. Burial was at the Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Carroll was born Jan. 12, 1943, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Paul and June (Caskey) Bair. He married Gayle Nichols in 1979, in East Moline.

Carroll served in the National Guard. He worked at the former East Moline Metal Company, retiring in 2005 after 37 years. He later worked for Johannes Bus Service, in Rock Island.

He enjoyed collecting Farmall memorabilia and riding his Farmall “H” tractor. He also loved spending time with his beloved dog, Tyty.

Survivors include his children, Pam (Brant) Betcher, of Geneseo; Bob Bair, of Carbondale, Colo.; and Kym (Kyle) Waggoner, of Moline; grandchildren, Logan Betcher, Bryndi Bair and Brandee Bair; and brothers, Paul Bair Jr., of Oskaloosa, Iowa; and Garry (Georgia) Bair, of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
