Christine Ann Solberg, 77, of Pontiac, and formerly of Geneseo and Rugby, N.D., died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at OSF HealthCare Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, in Pontiac. A funeral service was at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at Bethany Lutheran Church, in Rugby, N.D. A visitation was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at Anderson Funeral Home, in Rugby.

Christine was born March 4, 1940, in Edinburg, N.D., the daughter of Christian and Anna Sundvor. She graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School, in Fargo, N.D., and continued her education at the University of North Dakota. Christine married her high-school sweetheart Kenneth R. Solberg on Nov. 6, 1960, in Edinburg, N.D. She and Ken owned and operated Rugby Livestock, in Rugby, N.D., for more than 30 years.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Brad (Sara) Solberg, of Pontiac; Tom (Cindy) Solberg, of Bismarck, N.D.; and Stacy (Brent) Schulbloom, of Woodland Park, Colo. She also is survived by her grandchildren: Erik Solberg, of Columbus, Ohio; Jon Solberg, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Sam Solberg, of Fargo, N.D.; Melissa Solberg, of Duluth, Minn.; and Jackson Schubloom, of Woodland Park, Colo. She is survived by her brother, Harold Sundvor, of Edinburg, N.D., as well as many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Ken; her parents; and sisters, Ada and Elaine.
