Patricia A. “Pat” Rossow, 86, of Moline, formerly of Geneseo and Aiken, S.C., died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at Heartland Health Care Center, in Moline. No public services will be held. Private inurnment will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, on Arsenal Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, in Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patricia was born April 10, 1931, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Edward Paul and Mildred (Olsen) Allen. She marred Ernest H. “Jack” Rossow Jr. on July 24, 1954, in Moline. Jack died Oct. 21, 2013. Pat graduated from college with a teacher’s certificate, but spent most of her working years as a devoted homemaker for her husband and children. She greatly enjoyed horses and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Kristi (Bruce) Anderson, of Bozeman, Mont.; Tim (Sue) Rossow, of Powder Springs, Ga.; and Ernie Rossow, of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Holly Anderson, of Alexandria, Va.; Stephanie (Thomas) Mason, of Columbia, Md.; Kelsey Anderson, of Denver, Colo; Lauren (Ben) Dexter, of Trinity, Fla.; John Rossow, of Powder Springs, Ga.; and Paul Rossow, of Dallas, Ga.; great-grandchildren Brody and Regan Dexter with another on the way; brother, Cliff (Lois) Allen, of Deer River, Minn.; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and her parents.
