Marjorie L. Rahn, 96, of Geneseo, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at her home. A funeral service was at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21 at Concordia Lutheran Church, in Geneseo. The Rev. Stephen Mueller officiated. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation was from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, one hour prior to the funeral service, at the church. Memorials may be left to the Marjorie Rahn Memorial Fund. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, in Geneseo, is assisting with the arrangements.

Marjorie was born Jan. 3, 1921, in Geneseo, the daughter of Lenard and Caroline (Weitz) Frank. She graduated from Geneseo High School. Marjorie was united in marriage to Rolland W. Rahn on June 13, 1943, in Geneseo. Rolland preceded her in death in 2013. She worked for Hulting Hybrids, in Geneseo, in the seed room. Marjorie also assisted her husband, Rolland, on their farm, where she milked several dairy cows for many years. Marjorie was a longtime member of Concordia Lutheran Church, in Geneseo, and was active in several church groups. She enjoyed reading and loved meeting with her card club.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Donald (Holly) Rahn, of Geneseo; and Arlon (Kathleen) Rahn, of Mesa, Ariz.; as well as eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Rahn; and two sisters.
