The Millikin University Choir from Decatur will present a public concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, in the Geneseo High School Concert Hall.

The choir will showcase its reputation for innovative programming and tonal diversity with repertoire spanning five centuries.

Dr. Bradley Holmes, professor of music and director of choral studies, has led the choir since 1991. The 50-voice university choir is one of four choral ensembles on the Millikin campus involving more than 250 students.

In February, the choir will again perform for the Association as one of four college mixed choirs to be invited to the 10-state regional conference in Chicago.

Twice they have toured the Caribbean including stops in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Most recently, the choir visited the Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and Spain.
