Nationally recognized social skills educator Brooks Gibbs will present a program at Geneseo High School.

His program, “The Love > Hate Project,” focuses on conflict resolution with a special emphasis on the Golden Rule and resilience to bullying.

Members of the public are invited to the presentation, which will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 in the Geneseo High School Concert Hall. Middle-school students and their parents are especially encouraged to attend.

Gibbs will give a special program for Geneseo High School Students on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Gibbs, whose office is based in Florida, is an award-winning social skills educator whose message has reached millions.

Geneseo High School Principal Travis Mackey said a parent survey was distributed to ask for feed back as it pertains to student issues.

“A large response reflected on how we treat each other and the stresses facing our students. Brooks Gibbs addresses many of those issues and the timing is appropriate to bring him to Geneseo,” said Mackey.

The program is sponsored by the GHS Student Council.
