Elizabeth Jane Law Taylor, 93, of Laurel, Miss., died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at Magnolia Gardens, in Ellisville, Miss. A visitation was from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26 at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel. Funeral services followed at 10:30 a.m. Burial was at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were friends and family. Bro. Bob Taylor officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s charity of your choice. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Monday, Oct. 13, 1924, in Royal, Penn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Law and Agnes Walinck Law; her husband, Robert Taylor; and siblings, David Law, Catherine Dali, Margaret Henderson, Dolores Taylor, Jacqueline Williams and Agnes Adkins.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Williams (James), of Hebron, Miss.; Sherwood Taylor, of Laurel, Miss.; and Faith Quintana (Charles), of Dallas, Texas; and grandchildren: Aimee Hill (Brant), Janelle Austin (Brian), Eric Williams (Alisa) and Ramon Quintana; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of Magnolia Gardens for the excellent care and concern they have shown to Ms. Taylor.
