It’s the three “As” — animals, art and adoption — at RutabagA.

The non-profit art organization has teamed with the Henry County Humane Society - Geneseo to offer “Animal Art” at the gallery.

Adoptable kittens will visit the gallery at 108 N. State St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 and Friday, Feb. 23.

The Geneseo shelter is offering free adoption of any cat, one year and older, with an approved application. Applications are available at www.henrycountyhumanesociety.org.

“This is a cooperative effort in which we invite the public to see and enjoy what both the shelter and our gallery have to offer. Perhaps visitors to the studio will want to sketch the kittens as they sleep, play, and wait for someone to adopt them as well as to see what RutabagA has on display this month,” said Sharon Michaelsen, of RutabagA.
