Nicole Haverback was crowned the 2018 Geneseo Music Festival Queen following the pageant on Friday, June 15.

Haverback reigned over the 50th anniversary of the Music Festival. Weekend activities included musical performances, an arts and crafts show and a Father’s Day parade.

The annual queen contest is sponsored by the Geneseo Rotary Club. Haverback received a $500 scholarship from the club.

Members of her court also received scholarships from the Rotary.

Haverback’s court included first-runner up McKenzie Davison ($200), second runner-up Sarah Kibler ($150), third runner-up Alyson Holevoet ($100) and fourth-runner up Mallareigh Moser ($100).

All other queen contest participants received $25 Geneseo Chamber of Commerce gift certificates. The other participants were: Alora DeFauw, Elisabeth Grafft, Peyton Krauss, Savannah Rakestraw, Sarah Ramp and Isabel Sierra.

The participants were all 2018 Geneseo High School graduates.

The contest featured a one-on-one afternoon interview at The Cellar prior to the on-stage portion of the pageant on June 15.

Judges for the contest were Rob Tingley, Barb Bertelsen and Ashley Fehlman-Campbell.
