Richmond Hill Players will serve up “murder most funny” during their production of Jack Popplewell’s mysterious comedy “Busybody.” The show will be presented Thursdays through Sundays July 12 through July 22 at the Barn Theater, in Geneseo.

Mrs. Piper, the voluble office cleaning lady who knows everyone and tends to mind everyone else’s business a little too much, discovers a dead body in one of the offices while cleaning late one night - or does she?

A team of detectives is deployed from Scotland Yard, led by Superintendent Baxter, who is roused from his sick bed, only to discover that the body has disappeared. Has there really been a death, and, if so, was it murder? Who on the staff would have a motive and can the police get to the bottom of this without the help of the meddlesome busybody?
