Mary B. Stach, 61, of Geneseo, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at Hammond-Henry Hospital’s Emergency Room, in Geneseo. Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, in Geneseo. The Rev. David Murphy officiated. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery, in Atkinson. A visitation was from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be directed to the Mary B. Stach Memorial Fund.

Mary was born Jan. 2, 1957, in Mena, Ark., the daughter of Stuart and Bessie (Gibson) Stach. She was a graduate of Geneseo High School with the Class of 1975. Mary was employed at the former Munson’s Restaurant, in Geneseo; Good Samaritan; and the Iron Kettle. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, in Geneseo, and a current member of the Women of the Moose. She also played in the Geneseo Kitchen Band. Mary enjoyed watching old western movies, coloring, and loved music, especially Elvis Presley, and loved her family and was very dedicated to them.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Kenrick (Cary) Stach, of Geneseo; and Dean (Sandie) Stach, of Mesa, Ariz.; and sisters, Becky Stach, of Arizona; and Janice (Brad Gradert) Stach, of Geneseo. She also is survived by nine nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Bessie Stach.
