She was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Dorthea and Joseph McCray and was the youngest of five children. She married Jim FitzPatrick on Aug. 22, 2006. After their marriage, they moved to Venice, Fla., to live out their senior years with warmth, music and sunshine. Together, they would attend many concerts in Venice and were very involved in the many musical events happening in the area.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved family, her husband, Jim; daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Cory Miller, of Venice, Fla.; and grandchildren, Cameron Fleming, Garrett and Rae Miller, of Venice, Fla.; her extended and loving FitzPatrick family including: Tom FitzPatrick, Lori FitzPatrick, Sophie and Shane FitzPatrick, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Greg FitzPatrick, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Jill and Jeff Wallace, of Mahomet; and Kathy FitzPatrick, of Chicago. She also is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Steve Haars, of Geneseo; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
