Marylyn was born Aug. 26, 1933, in Moline, the daughter of Maurice and Irene (Kline) Eechout. She was united in marriage to Paul G. Lind on June 9, 1950, in Moline. He preceded her in death in 2016. Marylyn was a beautician and she owned and operated a salon from her home in Geneseo and Hillsdale for many years. She had a love for ceramics and antiquing. Some of her favorite antiquing finds were tea pots, which combined her two favorite things!

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Vicki (John) Hill, of Geneseo; and son, Craig Lind, of Rock Island. She also is survived by three grandchildren, Mindi (Damien) Baumann, Heidi (Carl) Freeman and Austin Lind; and six great-grandchildren, Molli, Seth and Ethan Baumann and Kayci, Cole and Cooper Freeman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Irene; husband, Paul; son, Rick Lind; and sister, Maureen Riperton.
