John Patrick “Pat” Melton, 49, died Saturday, April 14, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Denise DeCap Melton and daughter, Bridgette Joanna Melton, 18, of Lewisville, Texas; a brother, Phillip Melton of Dallas, Texas and numerous relatives. He was a proud native Texan. He was employed with Holt/Cat for 29 years as a heavy equipment inspector. Pat passed away after a long and courageous battle from a rare brain disease called Cortico Basal Degeneration. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Curepsp.org foundation in Pat’s honor.
