The Geneseo girls’ bowling team picked up a dual meet win against LaSalle-Peru, competed at the Anel Dura Invitational and hosted Mendota.

LaSalle-Peru at Geneseo

The Lady Leafs’ defeated LaSalle-Peru behind a stellar effort from Rachel Clementz at Lee’s Lanes on Dec. 1.

Geneseo’s Clementz rolled the duals high series (640) and game (241), and the Lady Leafs earned a 2901-2779 victory over their NIB 12 Conference rival.

Makenzie Bowton worked her way to a 501 series, and Katelynn Bowton finished with a 471 series.

Camarie Mueller rolled her way to a 449 series, and Delaney Ostrowski finished with a 435 series.

Geneseo’s Emily Pobanz rounded out the varsity scores with a 405 series.

The Geneseo JV put together a solid showing with three bowlers putting together series over 340.

Grace Moore led the way for the Geneseo JV with a 360 series, and Emma Kass finished with a 359.

Karis Ostrowski rolled her way to a 346 series, and Eva Carleton managed a 244 series.

Anel Dura Invitational

Geneseo finished fourth (4652) in the eight-team field at the Invitational hosted by Kewanee at the Dura Bowl on Dec. 3.

The Lady Leafs rolled an 846 team game, one of the highest at the invite, but were unable to maintain that consistency over the course of the day.

The Lady Leafs’ Pobanz and Katelynn Bowton finished among the top 10 in individual high series.

Pobanz rolled a team-high 1012 six-game series to finish eighth individually, and she rolled a 208 game.

Katelynn Bowton finished with a 1008 series to finish in ninth place individually.

Clementz was in the hunt putting together a 900 series, and Mueller finished with a 772 series.

GHS’ Delaney Ostrowski bowled a 556 series in four games, and Mackenzie Bowton put together a 404 series in four games.

Mendota at Geneseo

Mendota was able to hold off Geneseo for a 2951-2860 victory at Lee’s Lanes on Dec. 5.

The Lady Leafs’ Clementz had the duals high series with a 572 three set total.

Katelynn Bowton strung together three solid games for a 514 series, and Pobanz finished with a 482 series.

Mackenzie Bowton tallied a 447 series, and Ostrowski finished with a 440 series.

Mueller rounded out the varsity scores with a 405 series.

In the JV match, Mendota was able to top Geneseo 1790- 1179.

Moore led the way with a 313 three-game series, and Carleton rolled her way to a 311 series.

Geneseo’s Karis Ostrowski tallied a 286 series, and Kass finished with a 269 series.
