Duncan finished the race in 16:01 to pace the Maple Leafs’ squad, and Geneseo finished 20th in the team standings among a 23-team field.

The Maple Leafs’ Thackery Newton raced to 115th place in 18:05, and Christian Booth finished in 126th in 18:34.

Geneseo’s Adam Wells tracked down 136th place in 19:00, and Nathan Carroll finished 138th place in 19:06.

The Leafs’ Luke Sebastian rounded out the varsity times with a 146th-place finish in 19:32.

In the frosh/soph race, Geneseo packed up for a runner-up team finish.

The Leafs finished behind only Stanford Olympia in the 19-team field.

William Plumley paced the Maple Leafs with a 15th-place finish in 16:55, and Neo Colter finished 19th in 17:06.

Colby Rapps ran down a 23rd place time of 17:24, and Spencer Lindstrom finished in 33rd in 17:43.

Geneseo’s Rafe Morrison worked his way to a 37th place time of 17:53, and Ricky Chavez finished 66th in 18:28.

Ky Ariano rounded out the top seven with a 105th-place time of 19:40.

Geneseo’s next race will be at the Northern Illinois Big 12 meet hosted by Kaneland on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.
