Geneseo’s Blake Duncan led the team with a 24th- place finish in 16:56.

The Leafs’ Raymond Venneberg raced his way to a 35th-place finish in 18:06, and Andrew Rizzo was just a few steps back in 36th place (18:12).

Geneseo’s Christian Booth clocked in at 18:36 to take 42nd place, and Thackery Newton finished in 43rd place in 18:35.

Nathan Carroll crossed the finish line in 45th place in 18:50, and Adam Wells finished 49th in 19:26.

In the frosh/soph race, Geneseo’s William Plumley paced the Maple Leafs with a sixth-place finish in 17:50.

Geneseo finished fourth as a team with four team members finishing in the top 25.

The Maple Leafs’ Colby Rapps ran down 15th place in 17:50, and Neo Colter finished 17th in 17:55.

Geneseo’s Rafe Morrison worked his way to a 21st place finish in 18:21, and Luke Henkhaus finished 33rd in 19:07.

Geneseo’s Ricky Chavez-Sanchez landed 40th in 19:43, and Geneseo’s Ky Ariano finished in 20:24.

The Maple Leafs’ next race will be at the Class 2A Peoria Notre Dame Regional, at Donovan Park, in Peoria, on Oct. 21 at 11 a.m.
