Kewanee Invite

The Lady Leafs (4250) finished in fifth place among eight teams at the Dura Bowl, in Kewanee, on Dec. 2.

Geneseo’s Rachel Clementz led the team with a 946 six-game series and finished the day with a 201 game.

The Leafs’ Delaney Ostrowski rolled her way to a 903 series, and Emily Pobanz finished with an 884 series.

Jenah Hart tacked on a 668 five-game series for the Leafs, and Karis Ostrowski rolled to a 480 four-game series.

Geneseo’s Emma Kass put together a two-game series of 258, and Breann Keller added a 112 game.

Geneseo at Mendota

Mendota held off the Lady Leafs 2969-2689 at the Mendota Elk’s Lodge, on Dec. 4.

Pobanz rolled the team high three-game series with a 582, and Clementz finished with a 502 series.

Delaney Ostrowski tallied a pinfall of 475, and Hart finished with a 405 series.

The Leafs’ Karis Ostrowski added a 388 series, and Kass finished with a 337 series.

Geneseo’s JV team fell just short against Mendota, 1882-1728.

Keller paced the Leafs with a team-high 366 series, and Madeline Schlicht finished with a 318 series.

Jenna Morrone put together a 307 series, and Lexi Matthews finished with a 272 series.

Geneseo’s Melanie Parker tacked on a 260 series, and Rachel Vondra finished with a 205 series.

Geneseo at Ottawa

The Lady Leafs strung together three solid games to grab a 2653-2650 victory over the Lady Pirates at Dettore’s Downtown Lanes, in Ottawa, on Dec. 5.

Clementz led the Lady Leafs with a 514 three-game series, and Pobanz finished with a 508 series.

The Leafs’ Delaney Ostrowski rolled a 460 series, and Hart finished with a 422 series.

Geneseo’s Karis Ostrowski tacked on a 386 series, and Kass finished with a 363 series.

The Ottawa JV team managed to hold off Geneseo 1933-1899.

Geneseo’s Schlicht and Keller each rolled a 341 series to lead the JV team, and Keeton Lawrence finished with a 328 series.

Morrone tallied a pinfall of 315, and Matthews finished with a 295 series.

The Lady Leafs’ Adi Hernandez-Nesbitt tacked on a 279 series.

The Lady Leafs’ next tournament will be at the United Township Invite held at Highland Park Bowl, in Moline, at 9:30 a.m.
