Geneseo’s Grace Girten finished 20th in the all-around and, the Lady Leafs finished ninth among a 10-team field at the Tumble for the Troops Invite, at Oswego High School, on Dec. 22.

A freshman, Girten’s best finish of the day came on the balance beam where she scored a 7.175 to finish 38th individually.

Geneseo’s Caylie Hessler finished in 21st place in the all-around (6.637), and she had her best finish of the invite on the vault landing a tie for 41st place with a score of 7.950.

The Leafs’ Emma Heller finished in 22nd place in the all-around (6.368), and she had her best individual finish on the floor with a 7.100 score and 43rd place.

Geneseo’s Brynn Johnson finished the all-around in 23rd place with a score of 6.243, and her best finish was a 44th-place finish on the balance beam (6.075).

The Leafs’ Alexys Johnson had her best individual performance on the uneven bars landing 43rd (5.200), and she added a pair 45th place finishes on the balance beam (5.750) and the floor (6.750).

Geneseo’s JV team finished second among four teams at the Tumble for the Troops Invite held at Oswego High School, on Dec. 21.

The Lady Leafs (115.20) finished four points behind overall champion Batavia (119.20) in the team race.
