The Lady Leafs’ Emma Heller finished sixth in the all-around with a 26.05, and Geneseo’s Grace Girten won the all-around JV title.

The Geneseo gymnastics team finished seventh at the Winter Wonderland Invitational at Maine West High School, on Dec. 28.

The Lady Leafs’ Emma Heller finished sixth in the all-around with a 26.05, and she finished sixth on vault with an 8.5.

Geneseo’s Alexys Johnson earned ninth scoring a 7.55 on her floor routine, and she finished 11th on the balance beam with a 7.35 score.

The Lady Leafs’ Madison Koustas finished 16th with a 5.00 on the uneven bars, and she added a 16th place finish on the vault with a 7.65.

Sarah Korthals finished tied for 17th with a 7.6 on the vault.

Geneseo’s Grace Girten won the all-around JV title, and the Lady Leafs’ JV team finished seventh.

Girten finished first on the vault (8.25), uneven bars (6.35) and balance beam (7.7), and she tacked on a second place finish for her floor routine (7.35).

Geneseo’s Brynn Johnson was runner-up on the vault with an 8.15, and she tied for 13th place with a score of 5.5 for her floor routine.

The Leafs’ Evie Wilson came in third place for her floor routine (7.2), and she finished third on the vault with an 8.1 score.

Marissa Keogh finished in 15th place on the uneven bars.

Geneseo’s next competition will be a dual at home against Southwestern, Wis., at the Geneseo Park District Community Center, on Monday, Jan. 8 at 6 p.m.
