The Lady Leafs’ tennis team earned a trio of victories in dual matches.

Rock Island at Geneseo

The Lady Leafs earned a close 3-2 victory by sweeping the doubles match during Senior Night at the Geneseo High School tennis courts on Sept. 27.

Geneseo’s Emma Dunker and Mary Thomas notched a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles, and Alli Miller and Ava Bieneman picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles.

The Leafs’ Ali Craig and Kaitlyn Webster cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory.

Geneseo at Mendota

Geneseo swept the dual match against Mendota 5-0 on Oct. 1.

The Leafs’ Emily Henson won the No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-1, and Lexee Hodge won the No. 2 singles match 6-4, 6-1.

Dunker and Thomas earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles, and

Bieneman and Miller scored a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Webster and Craig finished off a 6-1, 6-0 win in doubles.

United Township at Geneseo

The Lady Leafs snuck away with a 3-2 victory taking all three doubles matches during a dual against the Panthers at the Geneseo High School tennis courts on Oct. 2.

Dunker and Thomas managed a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles, and Miller and Bieneman fought for a 6-2, 6-4 victory in No. 2 doubles.

Webster and Craig were flawless winning the No. 3 doubles match 6-0, 6-0.
