Kewanee Invite

The Lady Leafs finished third at the Kewanee Invite and Emily Pobanz finished runner-up individually at the Dura Bowl on Dec. 1.

A senior, Pobanz finished with a 1091 six-game series and a 239 single game.

After a slow start, Pobanz rolled a 205, 193 and 239 to finish with the highest three-game total at the invite.

Karis Ostrowski tallied a 986 six-game series to finish in 10th place, and Delaney Ostrowski finished a few pins back with a 946 series.

Geneseo’s Jenah Hart rolled a 938 six-game series, and Madison Holevoet finished with a four-game 531 series.

The Leafs’ Breann Keller rolled a 310 two-game series.

Geneseo at Rock Island

The Lady Leafs’ Pobanz remained on fire with a 674 three-game series against Rocky on Dec. 3.

Pobanz earned high series honors by 98 pins over Rocky’s Macy O’Mary who finished with a 576.

However, Rock Island won the team competition 3048-2996 over Geneseo.

Pobanz opened with a 245 game, and she finished with a 213 and 216 game.

Hart rolled her way to a 521 series, and Karis Ostrowski finished with a 514 series.

Delaney Ostrowski tallied a 476 series, and Keller finished with a 436 series.

Geneseo’s Holevoet finished with a 375 series.

In the JV contest, Geneseo held off Rock Island for a 2130-2097 victory.

The Leafs’ Miranda Roemer finished tied for the JV high three-game series with a 428.

Grace Moore tallied a 406 series, and Brooke Sproston finished with a 363 series.

Adi Hernandez-Nesbitt rolled her way to a 345 series, and Molly McGill finished with a 322 series.

Geneseo’s Madison Kensinger finished with a 266 series.

Ottawa at Geneseo

The Lady Leafs had a great showing against the Lady Pirates at Lee’s Lanes on Dec. 4.

Geneseo won the dual 3186-2481 eclipsing 1000 pins as a team in all three games.

Delaney Ostrowski finished with the dual’s high three-game series with a 578, and Pobanz finished with a 559 series.

Keller rolled her way to a 549 series, and Hart finished with a 529 series.

Holevoet tallied a 489 series, and Karis Ostrowski finished with a 482 series.

Geneseo JV team was led by Roemer’s 472 series, and Hernandez-Nesbitt finished with a 459 series.

Mary Thomas rolled her way to a 446 series, and Grace Moore finished with a 441 series.

Emily Henson completed a 373 series, and Sproston finished with a 340 series.

The Geneseo girls’ bowling team will have Autograph Night at Lee’s Lanes on Thursday, Dec. 13 with bowling against Kaneland beginning at 4 p.m.
