This year the Geneseo School District will be offering 2010-2011 athletic physicals for Geneseo, Annawan and Cambridge High?School students from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 3 at the Geneseo High School commons (enter through the back of the school). The athletic physicals are free to high school student-athletes who are entering 10th, 11th or 12th grades for the 2010-2011 school year. These are not camp physicals nor are they for incoming freshmen. Athletic physicals are offered as a joint service of the three school districts and area physicians for students needing to fulfill the annual physical requirement set by the IHSA. Forms may be picked up from the coaches, the main office or the nurses’ office. Forms may also be accessed at the Geneseo District Web site at www.dist228.org or the IHSA Web site at www.ihsa.org/forms. Athletic physical forms with medical history completed and signed by parent and student are to be returned to your school nurse by May 28. For more information, contact Deb Rokis at 945-0311. Students are asked to wear shorts, T-shirts and no socks and to arrive approximately 10 to 15 minutes early.
