Pamela J. Minnaert, 55, of Geneseo, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Hammond-Henry Hospital Skilled Care Unit, Geneseo. Funeral services celebrating her life were held Thursday, Sept. 23, at Vandemore Funeral Home Ltd., Geneseo. The Rev. Dr. Arthur Bergren officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Pamela Minnaert Memorial Fund.

She was born May 10, 1955, in Geneseo, the daughter of Arlyn and Carol (Anderson) Eyrich. She was a 1973 graduate of J.D. Darnall High School, Geneseo. She married David “Rebo” Minnaert. She was a waitress for 27 years at the former Deck Plaza restaurant, Geneseo, and later at The Cellar restaurant, Geneseo, for several years. She enjoyed her Tuesday night wine parties with her friends for the last several years. She also loved making everyone’s birthday very special and decorating and dressing up for Halloween.

Survivors include her son, Brad Minnaert of San Diego, Calif.; her mother, Carol Eyrich of Geneseo; two sisters and spouse, Cheryl and Jack Nowers of Prophetstown and Lynn Eyrich and friend Shawn Bauer of LaSalle; a brother and spouse, Bryan and Amy Eyrich of Glen Ellyn; three nieces, Chelsea, Nora and Emma; two nephews, James and Toby, and a special friend, Darrell Wexell of Geneseo. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
