Betty L. Wahlheim, 85, of Geneseo, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Hillcrest Home, in Geneseo. Private graveside funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Oakwood Cemetery, in Geneseo. The Rev. Bruce Bergthold officiated. A visitation was from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday,  Feb. 8 at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory, in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Betty Wahlheim Memorial Fund to be distributed among several charities.

Betty was born July 9, 1930, in Cambridge, the daughter of Louis and Martha (Kunter) Klavohn. She graduated from Galva High School and then went on to graduate with a degree in cosmetology from Sterling Beauty School, in Moline. Betty was united in marriage to Willard L. Wahlheim on Aug. 15, 1948, in Cambridge. He preceded her in death in 2011. She had been a real estate agent for 13 years, working for Stan Swanson Realty and Betty Powell Realty. Betty enjoyed golfing and playing cards as well as entertaining family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Doris (Darrell) Hutchinson, of Atkinson; and Linda (Jim) Lundquist, of Geneseo; grandchildren, Darren Hutchinson and Amy (Brian) Bogner; great-grandchildren, Zach and Matthew Bogner; and brother, Irvin Klavohn, of Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.
