Bruce A. Werbach

Cambridge - Bruce A. Werbach, 80, of Mexico, Missouri, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5th, at the Cambridge Lutheran Church. Rev. Matt Kamprath will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Cambridge, with military honors conducted by the Kewanee Veterans Council. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Cambridge, is assisting the family with the arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held in Mexico, Missouri, at a date to be determined in April.

Bruce Allen Werbach was born March 7, 1941 in Kewanee, the son of Merrill and Esther Borg Werbach. He was educated in Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1959. He attended Bradley University in Peoria and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1964. His marriage to Nancy Holstrom took place on June 27, 1965 in Geneseo.

He spent his professional life in logistics management in the trucking and transportation industry. Bruce was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mexico, Missouri. He enjoyed golf, was an avid reader, and loved the outdoors and working in his yard. He was proud of his service to his country in Vietnam and honored to be selected to travel on the Central Missouri Honor Flight in 2016.

Those surviving are his wife, Nancy, daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and J. Kent Lowry, Jefferson City, MO, and Jill and Dennis L. Molli, II, Columbia, MO, grandchildren, Aislinn (Travis) Gauchay, Eden Prairie, MN, Samuel Molli, Nashville, TN, Margaret Molli, Fayetteville, AR, and a great grandchild, Quenne Gauchay. Other survivors include, three brothers, Bill (Judy) Werbach, Phoenix, AZ, Bob (Charlotte) Telleen, Phoenix, AZ, and David (Judy) Telleen, Arlington Heights, IL. His mother, Esther, his father, Merrill Werbach, his stepfather, Kenneth

Telleen, and a brother, Philip Telleen, preceded him in death.
