Patricia Mary Alice Gorman

Patricia Mary Alice Gorman, 62, of Silvis, formerly of Geneseo, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Geneseo. Father Daniel Gifford will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service and inurnment at North Cemetery will be held at 10:30 a.m. On Monday, June 27, 2022. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, www.donate3.cancer.org.

Patricia was born on September 8,1959 to Thomas P. and Mary F. Gorman in Geneseo, IL. She attended J.D. Darnell Senior High in Geneseo and Blackhawk College in Moline, IL. She spent most of her life working retail. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, making greeting cards, family genealogy and listening to music. She felt so lucky to live in a world with the Allman Brothers Band, the Beatles, Alice Cooper with a little Dave Mathew’s Band mixed in. Keep on Rocking!!!

She married Richard Solis on September 5, 2014, in Rock Island.

She is survived by her husband Richard, 2 sons Shawn (Maggie) Powers Coal Valley, IL. Steven Powers California. Jim (Sharilyn) Solis Moline, IL. Dena Cantrill Nashville, TN. Rick (Monica) Solis Cornwall, NY. 3 grandchildren Mason Powers, Pensacola, FL. Daniel Powers, Grand Rapids, MI. and Mary Powers, Cedar Falls, IA Richard’s 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
