Charles "Roby" Redell

Charles “Roby” Robert Redell, 38, of Geneseo, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel. Reverend Terry Lancaster will officiate. A memorial visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Roby Redell Memorial Fund.

Roby was born January 30, 1984, the son of Charles and Debra (Stanley) Redell, in Silvis. He graduated from JD Darnall High School, Geneseo, class of 2003. He was a farmer, and always could be found tinkering on things. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and always had a big garden. He loved spending time with his family, especially Kora and Knox.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Charles Mark and Debra Redell of Geneseo; brother, Kurtis Redell of Geneseo; niece, Kora; nephew, Knox; and his cat that he cared for greatly, Ruger.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles J. and Dorothy Redell; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Kea; and maternal great-grandparents, Plumber and Stella Stanley.
