Ina C. Lowe

Ina C. Lowe, 92, of Geneseo, passed from this life into eternal life on December 31, 2022, at Hammond Henry Long Term Care-Geneseo with her family by her side. Graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery-Geneseo on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dan Seibert officiating. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her name to Grace United Methodist Church. Vandemore Funeral Home and Crematory-Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ina was born in Boston, MA on July 30, 1930, the daughter of Clinton and Ina (Thompson) Mills. She was a graduate of Brookline High School. Ina married Charles Lowe on July 20, 1957, in Brookline, MA. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2017. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Ina and Charlie enjoyed traveling with Classic Club and spending time with family. She was a talented seamstress, painter and crafter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, John (Marjorie) Lowe of Davenport, IA; daughter, Debra (Peter) Riley of Peoria, IL, three grandchildren; Alexis, Benjamin and Maxwell Riley; sister-in-law, Carol Mills; nephew, Clint Mills and niece, Cheryl Mills.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Clinton Mills.
