The Geneseo boys’ cross country team ran to a ninth-place finish at the Metamora Invitational on Oct. 8.

Geneseo’s Nathan Soria (29th, 15:44) and Blake Duncan (31st, 15:46) were medalists finishing among the top 40 individuals at Black Partridge Park in Metamora.

Geneseo’s Brandon Ramos raced to a 48th place finish in 16:17, and Peter Rizzo finished in 84th place (16:56).

Noah Sebastian finished in the top 100 with a 97th place time of 17:10.

Geneseo’s Neo Colter ran to a 110th place time of 17:27, and Maguire Hoon finished in 119 in 17:36.

In the frosh/soph race, Geneseo placed 14th out of 26 teams.

Geneseo’s Colby Rapps led the frosh/soph effort with a 44th place finish in 17:47.

The Maple Leafs’ Nathan Carroll ran down 83rd in 18:54, and Juan Mejias-Dansbach finished 118th (19:55).

Ky Ariano came in 120th for Geneseo in 20:00, and Carson Mariman finished in 144th (20:01).

Hayes Murphy was 150th in 21:15, and Luke Sebastian finished in 151st in 21:15.

The Maple Leafs’ next competition will be at the Northern Illinois Big 12 conference meet at Sterling’s Hoover Park on Saturday, Oct. 15 starting at 10 a.m.
