The Geneseo gymnastics team finished eighth at the DeKalb Invite in DeKalb on Dec. 7.

The Lady Leafs’ Grace Girten finished 16th in the all-around (28.75), and she had her best finish on the balance beam with a 24th-place finish (7.2).

Geneseo’s Evie Wilson earned 18th in the all-around with a 27.35, and her best place finish was 29th for her vault routine (7.75).

Brynn Johnson landed 21st in the all-around with a 28th place finish on vault (7.80).

Alexys Johnson earned 23rd with a 25.22, and she finished 32nd on the balance beam (6.60).

Emma Heller finished 27th with a 23.65, and she finished 36th for her floor routine (6.90).

In the JV competition, Geneseo’s top squad finished third and their second group finished eighth among nine teams.

The Lady Leafs’ Reagan Lommell worked her way to a fifth-place finish in the all-around (28.40), and she finished third in the vault competition with an 8.450.

Taylor VanDeVoorde captured eighth in the all-around (26.90) with a fourth-place finish on vault (8.4).

Taylor Smith finished 19th in the all-around (21.10), and she finished 22nd on the balance beam (6.20).

Abby Krebbs grabbed 22nd in the all-around (19.45), and she finished tied for sixth in the vault competition (8.25).

Emma Miller finished 25th in the all-around with a 15.60, and she finished 27th in the floor competition with a 5.90.
