When it came to speed, Geneseo’s 4x400-meter relay team of Ali Rapps, Julia Poel, Alison Bowers and Josie Brown shared the baton to win the title in 4:16.05.

When it came to distance, Geneseo claimed the 4x800 relay crown with Josie Brown, Esther Brown, Anna Girten and Poel notching the win in 10:16.53.

Geneseo had 10 top five finishers at the meet held at Monmouth College on March 16.

Finishing second, Rapps chased down a new freshman 60 hurdles record of 9.47, and her time was the third fastest in school history.

Rapps added a 400 victory finishing in 1:02.07 for the fourth-best freshman time in school history.

A senior, Josie Brown earned an individual win in the 800 in 2:27.02, and Esther Brown finished fifth in 2:37.14.

Bowers crossed the finish line third in the 60 in 8.2 for the third fastest time in school history.

A sophomore, Abby Reakes cleared 5’2” in the high jump to earn fourth.

In the pole vault, Alexys Johnson cleared a season-best height of 9’6” to finish third, and Hannah Rakestraw finished fifth with a height of 9’.

Belvel raced to a seventh-place finish in the 1600 in 5:53.01, and Anna Girten finished 18th in 6:19.03.

In the triple jump, Morgan Simms had a season-best distance of 28’9.5”, and Annie Turpin finished 21st with a distance of 27’9”.

The Lady Leafs’ 4x200-relay team of Poel, Reakes, Johnson and Bowers landed seventh in 1:55.36.

Regan Lommell raced to a 20th-place finish in the 200, and Savannah Reisner raced to a 24th place finish in the 400 in 1:12.43.

Miah Shoemaker came in 21st in the 60 hurdles in 11.46, and Taylor Smith finished 25th in the shot put with a throw of 27’10”.

The Lady Leafs’ Lommell came in 30th in the 60 in 8.98.

Gracie Erickson finished the long jump with a distance of 10’3.5”, and Taya Fouts finished with a jump of 10’3”.
