Geneseo’s Ali Rapps set a season-best time in the 300-meter hurdles finishing in 46.84.

A freshman, Rapps’ time in the 300 hurdles is the eighth fastest in Class 2A this season according to athletic.net.

After posting the fastest time in Class 2A last week, Geneseo’s distance medley relay team was at it again.

The Lady Leafs’ team of Lauren Belvel, Julia Poel, Esther Brown and Josie Brown won the distance medley relay with a time of 13:01.08.

In the 4x800 relay, Geneseo earned a runner-up finish with Poel, Belvel, Esther Brown and Josie Brown sharing the baton to cross the finish line in 9:59.91.

Geneseo’s 4x100 shuttle hurdles team nabbed second with the team of Emma Terronez, Miah Shoemaker, Avery Magerkurth and Rapps finishing in 1:08.81.

In the 4x400 relay, Geneseo’s Rapps, Maddi Barickman, Anna Pierce and Alex Horne finished third in 4:17.95.

Geneseo set several personal records in the field events.

Brenna McGuire finished second in the shot put with a throw of 33’10”, and Hannah Rakestraw earned a runner-up finish in the pole vault clearing a season-best 10’1”.

Horne finished third in the long jump with a season-best mark of 15’5”.

The Lady Leafs’ Maddi Barickman set a new season-best in the discus with a throw of 110’5”, and Allie Mackey landed fourth with a personal record throw of 104’1”.

Annie Turpin came in 11th in the triple jump with a distance of 28’11.75”, and Anna Girten finished 11th in the 1600 in 6:06.98.
