New twist for Lunch in the Park

The 2008 edition of the Lunch in the Park series in Galva will have a new twist - some evening dinners.

Since its inception a few years ago, the series, hosted by the Galva Chamber of Commerce, has featured once-a-month lunches and entertainment on Wednesdays in Veteran Memorial Park. This year's series includes three such lunches.

But new to the lineup this year is three evening dinners, held in June, July and September.

The first event is a lunch, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Wednesday, May 28.
