Paying census jobs coming; testing begins

The U.S. Census Bureau is testing for employment opportunities in the Galva area.

Local testing dates and locations are as follows:

Monday, Jan. 11 - 10 a.m. at Galva City Hall (311 NW 4th Ave.)

Friday, Jan. 22 - 2 p.m. at Galva City Hall

Bring two forms of identification (driver’s license, Social Security card, birth certificate, passport).

Census takers may work up to 40 hours per week in this temporary, part-time job. Hours are flexible and mileage reimbursement is available.
